Just give the guest user read rights on the workspace. With a simple url (configure this workspace) you can then assign a friendly url to the workspace so that it is reachable with something like http://your_domain/workspace_name.

When on the workspace go to Manage in the menu and choose Configure. Then at the top of the page you can assign a url to the workspace and even an e-mailaddress.

In teaming 2.0, it depends what you mean by public.

If you mean all users existing in Teaming, then you've got a group called "AllUsers" you can assign rights on ...

If you mean all users (even not authenticated) then you've got the guest account...(note: in teaming 2.0 from Novell, you need a special license to allow guest.... ouch ...)
