I'm using a 2.x version of Teaming/Vibe; 2.1 to be exact!

All users are being LDAPed from eDir and have always been using LDAP!  We have around 50 users or so which have worked without a problem.  As of a certain date/time (which I can't pin down) any new users we add are experiencing strange problems?

In most cases it's a Read Entry right; which the user has; I've explicitly have given it on the Folder/Workspace even!

'username' is not authorized to perform 'readEntries' operation on this work area

I've done an index; without any errors.  Some of the other side effects are that user is unable to see/search folders/workspaces they have access to; if they click on a hyperlink, they can then see the folder fine?  Also, Mobile Interface gives the same readEntries error?

Did you turn off access to the user profiles (in the User Workspacesfolder)? This might cause what you are seeing. V2.1 is pretty old.You should upgrade sometime. It gets harder to do the upgrades if you don't keep up.

Thanks for the reply Peter. I know I should upgrade; I'm waiting on some customization to finish even though I might have to redo it in 3.x :(

As for the current issue, I think what you were referring to is the Personal Workspaces; right? Where all the user profiles are stored! At this point, only the two Site Admins have rights but, I've verified that the user in question has full explicit rights to his/her own folder?

Do I still need to give more rights at a higher level? What happens if you don't want users to see each other's profiles? I know in 3.x there are some groupings and security levels but, in a 2.x envirionment, can't we just remove rights from "All Users"?
