You can now get either a VMware or Xen virtual machine with Kablink Teaming 2.0.1 preinstalled here. These images were produced with the newly released SuseStudio :-) and are only ~300MB to download. Teaming is preconfigured to start with a basic configuration that includes a local mail server for outgoing mail and also the OpenOffice document converter configured as a service. To further refine the setting will require downloading and updating the software using the Teaming installer.

Our friends at Click2Try have kindly setup a demo of Kablink Teaming 2.0.0 so that you can kick the tires before installing it yourself. Its easy to get started and you don't even have to register in order to get access to a virtual machine running Teaming (although you are limited to 1 hour or use). Check it out.

We are just getting started with our library effort and need your help. There are currently two extensions that can be used in a Teaming instance that have been contributed by the community. These are NOT production quality at this time but should instead be used as examples of what is possible.
The Twitter extension can be attached to any Teaming entry and will create a TinyUrl for the entry and most the Title and TinyURL to Twitter when the current user transisions the entry to the Twitter state.
The VideoEntry extension adds support for playing Flash videos to Teaming (think YouTube). It currently only supports Flash video formats and the Firefox browser.
Let's see what else we can do :-).
